Sign Seeker
Project Scope
Sign Seeker is a mobile game designed to raise awareness of Ghost Signs, vintage hand-painted advertisements that have faded over time. Over the duration of my fieldwork and research, it was apparent that only 16% of this heritage art is being preserved. This leaves at least 96 signs that I have documented at risk of disappearing. Sign Seeker allows users to digitally interact with these signs and bring important parts of Australian heritage back to life in a creative way.
